New York Mets hammer Orioles behind David Wright's two home runs; Mike Pelfrey earns 9th win

Jason Bay and Mike Pelfrey both needed to change. Bay woke up Sunday in an 0-for-16 slump, and Pelfrey was, by his own assessment, "terrible" in the first two innings of the Mets' 11-4 win over Baltimore.

But neither would have made it to the highest level of his profession without an ability to adjust, and both made necessary alterations Sunday. "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same result," Bay said. "So you feel like you need to be proactive."
